I have been studying kaleidocycles - inspired by M.C. Escher - art with lots of geometrical applications. This website was made by a student - and really shows you the exact steps in making a 3-tetrahedron kaleidocycle. I really want to find more sites like it. I used the tag "Kaleidocycle" and "You Tube" to find it.

I struggle to find good sites with famous artwork slideshows. I like this one which features Claude Monet. The music is "Agaigio For Strings" which is beautiful and seems to perfectly fit the artwork. I used the tag "Monet" and "You Tube".

I notice that spelling is very important - I ignored a site that advertised "He was one of the world's famous painter" - perhaps the author was not English-speeking ...

I registered with "delicious". Often, students send me sites about art - especially, novelty art like 'sand art' and 'performance art." I think that I could encourage students to explore sites for artwork presentation or information either through assignment during class or outside of class. I'm more interested in piquing their interest and having them explore art sites in class as the motivation for them to explore outside of class time.

is the website for the Houston Museum of Fine Arts current artwork on display. I used the tag "MFAH" and "Artwork".
